User Rights Policy

This policy summarizes the rights VeriLend honors for every user, regardless of location. Where local law grants additional rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other state privacy laws), those additional rights also apply.

Right to Access Your Data

You can view most of your data directly in the app (loan applications, uploaded documents, credit reports, messages). For a full export, email privacy@verilend.app with the subject "Data Access Request." We respond within 30 days.

Right to Correct Your Data

You can edit account, loan, and document metadata inside the app. For fields you cannot edit yourself, email privacy@verilend.app with the correction and any supporting information.

Right to Delete Your Data

You can request deletion at any time. See the Data Retention Policy for scope and timelines. Certain records may be retained under legal-hold exceptions.

Right to Revoke Consent

You can revoke consents (for document sharing, credit-report processing, or optional communications) at any time. See Financial Compliance for details.

Right to Request Account Closure

To close your account:

1. Sign in and open the Security page.
2. Email support@verilend.app from your account email with the subject "Close My Account."
3. We will confirm within 5 business days and complete closure within 30 days.

Right to Non-Discrimination

VeriLend does not discriminate against users for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for privacy waivers.

Right to Appeal

If we decline a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email. If you remain unsatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in the EU/UK) or your state attorney general (in the U.S.).
